Last updated September 8, 2026. These terms cover use of this website. The work itself is governed by the engagement letter we sign with you, and where the two disagree, the engagement letter wins.
Who you are contracting with
Veris Financials is a trading name (DBA) of M&R Business Solutions LLC, a company based in Ridgeland, Mississippi, United States.
What this website is
This site describes our services and lets you contact us. It is marketing material. Nothing on it is an offer capable of acceptance, and nothing on it creates an engagement between us.
What this website is not
Nothing on this site is tax, accounting, legal or investment advice for your situation. General information about how a 1120-S works is not a recommendation about your 1120-S. Advice happens inside an engagement, in writing, after we have seen your facts. Do not act on anything here without that.
Prices shown here
Prices on the pricing page are starting prices for the scope described, in US dollars, and are indicative until confirmed. The fee that binds either of us is the one written into your engagement letter or quote. We will not change an agreed fixed fee because the work turned out to be harder than we expected; we will tell you before scope changes.
Engagements
Work begins when a written engagement letter or quote is accepted by both parties. That document sets out the scope, the fee, the timetable, and who is responsible for what. Monthly services run month to month unless the engagement letter says otherwise.
Who signs and files
Where a filing requires a signature from a licensed practitioner, that signature is provided by you or by your CPA firm, not by Veris, unless the engagement letter expressly says otherwise. Legal responsibility for a filed return rests with the person who signs it.
Your responsibilities
Our work depends on the records you give us. You are responsible for providing complete and accurate information, for reviewing what we deliver, and for meeting your own filing deadlines. We will flag what looks wrong; we cannot audit what we were never sent.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, our liability arising from your use of this website is excluded. Liability arising from an engagement is governed by the limitation clause in that engagement letter. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for fraud.
Third-party links and platforms
We name accounting platforms and link to external sites. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, availability or terms.
Intellectual property
The content, design and code of this site belong to M&R Business Solutions LLC, other than third-party trade marks, which belong to their owners and are named descriptively.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Mississippi, United States, and the courts of that state have exclusive jurisdiction, except where a mandatory consumer protection law in your own country gives you a different right.
